Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Recipe
- 1 cup whole milk well chilled
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups heavy cream well chilled
- 1.5-2 tsp pure peppermint extract or to taste
- 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate bar chopped into tiny pieces
Get a bowl pour the cup of milk and 3/4 cup sugar and using a whisk combine milk and sugar until dissolved.
Add in heavy cream and peppermint and stir.
Turn on the ice cream maker and pour the mixture into the frozen freezer bowl and let mix until thickened, about 25 minutes. During the last 5 minutes of churning, slowly put in chopped chocolate.
