It’s very simple and easy to make , it takes very little time to prepare and make it, specially if you are using a modern ice cream maker. The Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream Recipe is consisted of only couple of steps and the majority of the time you are waiting for the fridge to do its thing.
Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream Recipe
- 2 C heavy cream
- 2 C milk
- 1/2 C Sugar
- 1/4 C Brown Sugar
- 2/3 C pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- pie crust - rolled and baked and broken
Pour everything but the cream into the blender, and blend until smooth
Pour into a bowl and Stir in the cream
Cover and refrigerate until completely cooled for about 4 hours or overnight
Turn on the ice cream maker and pour the mixture into the frozen freezer bowl and let mix until thickened, about 30-35 minutes.
The ice cream will have a soft, creamy texture. If a firmer consistency is desired, transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and place in freezer for about 2 hours.
Remove from freezer about 15 minutes before serving.
